This Week at and away from Grace

With the new executive orders issued by the Governor, Office Staff in office time has changed.

The Church office remains closed except by appointment.

Jody continues to work in the office on Monday from 11-4.

Andrea has now started working remotely for much of the work week, but will be in the office on Thursdays from 9-4 to answer phones and do essential duties that are not able to be done remotely.

Pastor Wendell and Pastor Netsie continue to be in the church as much as possible on their scheduled days.  Because of Pastorial duties and filming services in the church, the calsl that come in on days where office staff are not in the office, may go to voice mail, but will be checked by Pastor Wendell and Pastor Netsie when they are able.

Fifth Sunday in Lent

Introduction
In today’s gospel Jesus reveals his power over death by raising Lazarus from the dead. The prophet Ezekiel prophesies God breathing new life into dry bones. To those in exile or living in the shadows of death, these stories proclaim God’s promise of resurrection. In baptism we die with Christ that we might also be raised with him to new life. At the Easter Vigil we will welcome the newly baptized as we remember God’s unfailing promise in our baptism.

Prayer of the Day
Almighty God, your Son came into the world to free us all from sin and death. Breathe upon us the power of your Spirit, that we may be raised to new life in Christ and serve you in righteousness all our days, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
Amen.
