Children’s Ministry at Grace
Children’s Sunday School
The Sunday School program is held at 9:00 AM on Sundays, from mid-September to mid-June, and is followed by our 10:00 AM Worship Service. Children ages 2 years old through 5th grade are invited to join us for an hour of learning and play. Our current curriculum is focused around justice and faith. We supplement our Bible story with games, coloring, and crafts.
Throughout the year, we have a number of special Sunday school activities, including the Nativity program before Christmas, Sundae Sunday, and a Backpack Blessing. On the first Sunday of the month, an inter-generational potluck follows our 10am Service, featuring a lesson or fun group activity. These include Advent Wreath-making, learning about aspects of our church, or a service project. In previous projects, kids chose to help Jackson Street Youth Shelter and Community Outreach.

Monthly Grace Kids Discovery Days
Join us on the last Thursday of the month from 5-6:30pm for our Discovery Day! During this event, we will gather for a family meal, then participate in fun games, crafts, and activities centered around a new theme each month. Prior themes have included Science Experiments and Spreading Love! There will be a scripture lesson for each theme. Parents are invited to join for the meal 5-5:30, then are welcome to join our choir rehearsal 5:30-6:30 if interested.
