God’s Work…Our Hands will be held at Avery Park this Sunday following the 10:00 am service.
We are participating in an ELCA Churchwide event to act visibly in our communities. Her’e are the details:
We will gather at the Maple Grove shelter to have lunch from approximately
- 11:30-12:00 pm. The Maple Grove Shelter is located close to the 15th street
entrance, turning right as you enter…. close to the Rose Garden. - Following lunch, we will distribute tools and get work assignments. Work assignments
will include; trash pick-up, trail clearing, landscape maintenance and lunch sack
assembly. If you want to bring tools from home, that would be of additional help. Be
sure your name is on each tool. Gloves are recommended. - Our God’s Work….Our Hands activity will go from approximately 12:00-2:00 pm.
- Be sure to wear your yellow God’s Work…Our Hand t-shirts at service on Sunday!!
