The Angel Comes to Mary

Today, March 25, is the minor festival of the Annunciation of Our Lord, when the angel came to Mary and announced that she was to be the mother of our Savior, Jesus. You may read the story in Luke 1. 26-38. Here is Oremus, an online Bible browser: https://bible.oremus.org/ . Just highlight the Bible passage above, click Ctrl C [both keys at the same time] and paste it into the Bible browser box, by pressing Ctrl V [both keys at the same time].

This story of the Annunciation is also a part of Holden Evening Prayer. Here is a link to a YouTube video for that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HMgj7UVAMg This video is from Christmas, but that reminds us of the connections with God coming to us to live among us in times of fear and anxiousness. If you just want to hear the Annunciation and Magnification set your YouTube video to 10:20.
