Who’s My Neighbor? Day Camp

Based on the Parable of the Good Samaritan;  “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”  The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”    Luke 10:37-38

Discover who our neighbors are and how we can be Good Neighbors.   We will explore Neighbors from other countries, our local forests, and help kids in our local schools through a service project!

Activities will include stories, music, and service projects at Grace or Good Samaritan locations, and a field trip one day for hiking and fun at Hesthaven in Oak Creek area of Corvallis.

Dates:   August 5 -8, 9am – 12pm, M-Th .

This camp is for all kids entering grades 1 – 6*.

Camp is co-hosted by Grace Lutheran and Church of the Good Samaritan Episcopal —

*Younger kids may be included after a discussion about the child’s readiness with the Coordinator.
