Wisdom Seekers
Wisdom Seekers Book Group Welcomes New Participants!

The Wisdom Seekers Book Group will be starting a  new book on Thursday, April 13th  – This Tender Land: A Novel by William Kent Krueger.  It is the story of four orphans who travel the Mississippi River on a life-changing odyssey during the Great Depression, crossing paths with others who are adrift. It is described as an “enthralling, big-hearted epic that shows how the magnificent American landscape connects us all, haunts our dreams, and makes us whole.”

Meetings will be every Thursday at noon via Zoom, covering about 30 pages each week.  Please join us for some fun discussions!  If you would like to do so, please contact Mark Klopsch at klopschm@comcast.net so that he can add you to the Zoom invitation.

Global Book Club meets monthly on the First Tuesday in the Fireside Room.

Next Meetings:

June 6 – After the Last Border: Two Families and the Story of Refuge in America by Jessica Goudeau.
