Global Book Club Meeting Time: First Tuesday of the Month at 1 pm in the Fireside Room
May 6,2025 – Global Book Group This is an invitation to join the Global Book Group to discuss the books Take Heart and The Piano Tide with the author, Kathleen Dean Moore. Ms. Moore is a nationally known writer of books on the environment. The discussion will be on Tuesday, May 6 at 1:00 in the Grace Lutheran Church Fireside Room. It isn’t often the Global Book Group discussion includes the author so this is a “Not to miss opportunity”. All are invited.
June – Global Book Group The June meeting of the Global Book Group will join the audience at the Corvallis Benton County Library main meeting room for the Random Review of The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese. The Random Review is on June 11 from 12-1pm. The Covenant of Water was also selected by the Global Book Group for discussion in June. After the Random Review presentation at the library, the Global Book Group will adjourn to a restaurant to continue the discussion and select books to read and discuss in the coming September to June year. All are invited.
