March 15 Worship Canceled

While worship with communion is critical to our life together, the coronavirus emergency has prompted us to cancel worship for the time being in hopes of slowing down the spread of this encroaching pandemic. Few of us have lived through this sort of concern and yet our response must be quick and agile, so we apologize if this is taking some of you by surprise.

• Christian Education hour is also canceled.
• Congregational Council will meet as scheduled on Monday, March 16, 6:45 PM.
• The church office will be closed, except by appointment only: 541-757-1600.
• We will suspend all other activities in our building except as needed.
• Most outside groups’ activities this week have already been canceled such as Sandcastle Preschool and the City Club Forum.

We are working on creative ways to bring our community together without gathering in person. Lent is a particularly important time for prayer and reflection. Look for future emails and on our website for further information and opportunities to encourage us to love and service.
