VIDA, Volunteers for Intercultural & Definitive Adventures, an OSU student group, will be having a car wash at Grace. The funds raised will be used to help those students go to Central America this summer to work in health care.

Do you have an extra car? A Norwegian seminary student and his family need one to use while they are doing a clinical “internship” training in Salem for six weeks this summer. Contact Pastor Wendell or Netsie.

The Alaska Synod met in assembly the same dates as our Oregon Synod (April 27-29) and elected the second female bishop to serve in our region of the U.S. The Rev. Shelley Wickstrom is bishop elect of the Alaska Synod.

A look at the prayers we do in worship. 

Congregational Potluck & Talent Show

Potluck: After second service, in Ronnenkamp.

We will NOT be ordering pizza for this potluck. Bring a main Dish and a salad or dessert.  You are also invited, if possible, to bring your own place setting.

Talent Show: after the potluck, (about 1:00) in the sanctuary

There are still opportunities to sign up to present a talent. Contact Pastor Wendell or Michael Beachley with your talent selections, titles, and accompanists. There will be an opportunity for a rehearsal Saturday, May 5, between 10 am & noon. Contact Pastor Wendell for a specific time or to rehearse at another time.
