Our new Paschal Candle was constructed by Christopher Buckley. He took candle stubs from both Grace Lutheran and the Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan, melted them down and made a new candle from it. He took a used brass doorplate and fashioned the cross and symbols from that. Good Sam had some white draperies from the remodel project in their fellowship hall which forms the candle sleeve. All this was re-purposed into our Paschal Candle for 2016.

Did you ALSO know?

Christopher made a twin Paschal Candle for The Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan.
