[i] Poinsettias are easy to care for. They thrive on a little (but not complete) neglect. Put them in a room with natural light, but one that doesn’t get much artificial light. They like about 12 hours of darkness each day. They also like to be in a window. Make sure they regularly get a little water before they dry out completely. Touch the soil; if it feels dry give it a half cup of water. Some people like to cut the old red leaves off. Let any new sprouts grow. About last of September or early October you’ll notice the top leaf getting a little color. By mid-November you should have some red leaves coming on.
