Annual Report
Grace Lutheran Church Foundation
January 2023

In November, the Foundation received a very generous gift from the estate of Milt Larsen. This was the second time Milt, along with his wife Billy, has made a substantial gift to the Foundation. Milt did not specify exactly how he wished this gift to be used, but in consultation with his son, it was decided that most would be placed in the Ronnenkamp Fund and the remainder would be placed in the Technology Fund. Milt appreciated being able to watch services at home during and after the pandemic, so using some of his gift to ensure continued access for worshipers who can’t join us in person seems like a good fit.

The Foundation administers multiple funds, some of which are endowed and many that have specific designated purposes. The Foundation is dedicated to preserving the endowed funds while using their earnings to support projects that will enhance the mission of Grace. Since 2008, the funds of the Foundation have been managed by the Endowment Fund of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

During our existence as a Foundation, we have awarded $699,990.28 to a variety of projects that support the mission of Grace. The Foundation’s value as of Nov. 1, 2022, was $679,795.84, and it currently has $95,312 available for awards, most of which is dedicated for specific purposes.
