Annual Report
Grace Lutheran Church Foundation
January 2019

Twenty-four years ago, the Grace Lutheran Church Foundation was established at the 1995 Congregational Meeting. The congregation had received a generous gift from Carl and Alice Ronnenkamp, which became the initial funding for the Foundation. Since then the Foundation's value has grown to $598,734.66 (as of November 30, 2018). The value of the Foundation continues to grow through our investments and gifts both large and small.

The Foundation administers thirteen funds, some of which are endowed and most have specific designated purposes. The Foundation is dedicated to preserving the endowed funds while using their earning to support projects that will enhance the mission of Grace. Since 2008 the funds of the Foundation have been managed by the Endowment Fund of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

During our existence as a Foundation, we have dispersed awards of $635,854.83 (as of 12/15/18) with other awards pending to a variety of projects that support the mission of Grace. The Foundation currently has over $48,000 available for awards. For more information about grants we have awarded, pending grants, and how to apply for a grant from the Foundation please visit our website grace97330.org/Foundation/home.html or contact a member of the Foundation Board.

We often award grants of up to a specific amount. This results in some grants actually being funded for less than the maximum of the grant. These numbers represent actual dollar amounts dispersed rather than the requested amount except in the grants that have not been fully funded. Grants to groups outside the congregation must be sponsored by a member of the congregation.

Sincerely,
